Festival Story

A Thousand Years of History

For more than 1,500 years, recognized as a birthplace of ginseng (Insam), Geumsan has been a hub for cultivation and trade.

 

Inheriting Tradition

In paying tribute to this legacy, the festival was created to revitalize the local customs and economy and embrace the community’s pride.
